To help shed light on ways to improve SEO and the overall web marketing potential of a site, a comprehensive website audit can be the best investment. However, not all website are treated equally and some are more sparse than others.

Ensure that you invest in a complete audit that covers all bases. Learn more below about what you should expect from comprehensive website audits in 2016.

Navigation and Usability

A usability audit simply looks at the good and the bad of your website from a user’s perspective. It is about testing for factors that make your visitors come back or abandon your website for good.

Your site should be user friendly; visitors should be able to find the information they need with ease, they should be able to access all the pages of your website and should get clear content from whichever device they are using. Navigation and usability website audits help you determine the behavior of your visitors and what you need to change to improve website-user engagement.

Technical Fluidity and HTML

You do not want to make it hard for search engines to crawl your site as this may cost you traffic and make you lose business. You thus need to conduct technical website audits from time to time. These audits basically look at how smooth your website performs.

Technical site audits look at server response codes and how they affect your website and SEO performance. These response codes or errors include the 301, 302 and the 404. These server responses are returned when a page on your website has been permanently or temporarily moved or when you have broken links.

The audit identifies broken links and redirects on your site. Very important to do regularly for ecommerce sites, technical audits further look at the friendliness of website’s URLs, loading time, XML sitemap issues and duplicate content.

Conversion Touchpoints and Funneling

This part of a website audit, which is very important for managing SEO and web marketing, simply looks at your website’s ability to convert. Its aim is to help you understand what is preventing visitors from buying anything on your site.

Even the best websites may have a low conversion rate due to minor factors such as lack of quality images, poor website layout, lack of enough products or services details and poor call-to-action statements or placement. This audit looks at which, among the factors listed above, makes visitors not to buy from your site.

Search Engine OptimizationSEO Site audit

While many seek website audits in the hopes of getting SEO-specific information, these parties are best suited to invest in SEO site audits that are central to SEO elements.

Not only do you need unique content but also well formatted and integrated with pictures and sometimes videos. SEO website audits look at how you have applied each of the factors above and what your site may be lacking in order to rank high in Google.

Industry Applications of On-board Weigh Systems

Posted on September 22, 2015

on-board weighing system for truckThere are many instances where a product shipment or load cannot be taken to a weighing facility or it’s not logistically feasible to have a specific weigh station site. To ease the burden of needing an external truck scale, there have been industry developments in weight applications. Among the most advanced and universally applicable are on-board weigh scales for trucks and other vehicles and equipment.

On-board weighing systems are known to increase productivity and efficiency for many industry applications. On-board scales produce accurate real-time data about crops and yields, in addition to other logistical weights for materials delivered. Gone are the days of separate truck scales are required. On-board weigh systems are soon to be in the industry standard for many farmers and ag producers.

On-board Weighing Scale Applications

There are several types of on-board weighing systems on the market today covering machinery as small as forklifts and excavators to high-capacity on-board truck weighing systems. There are major benefits for these tools in providing more accurate information to the vehicle’s operator, allowing them to reduce load times and maximize their work haul performance. on-board forklift weighing system

Forklift on-board scales are on a smaller scale than others, but focus on increased productivity in high paced environments as well as improved safety. Additionally, these tools allow the operator to correctly load the vehicles and check available stock with the predetermined pallet or stillage weights pre-programmed into the on-board weight system. Both allowing for faster operations, more accuracy when loading larger vehicles, and safer operations for all involved.

On-board scales also highly productive conveyor belt scale systems that offer durability and accuracy with real-time production. Conveyor belt scales are ideal for stationary applications, whether in a mining operation or a warehouse. These systems also allow for multiple scales to be monitored by one controller, reducing mistakes and supervisory overhead. These scales, although common in mining, are becoming more prevalent with logistic and packaging operations to assist with shipping weights and packing loads.

There are on-board weigh systems that are so sophisticated they track not only weight, but they record grain yield, moisture content, speed of collection and harvest rate. These on-board weighing systems are hugely beneficial in the agricultural realm on harvesting equipment such as combines and grain carts. These systems often include GPS mapping along with reporting on crop tonnage, while recording data year over year, assisting in improved yields.

Another form of on-board weight technology is seen in the railroad industry with in motion rail scales. These on-board weigh systems for rail cars are designed to help assign value to a load being transported via railroad car. These scales, unlike the aforementioned, are often installed on the main line of the rail tracks, not necessarily on the rail cars themselves.

Although there is a less used system that incorporates this technology directly on the railcar, but the results are often inaccurate and take longer to report. The railway weigh system measures the overall weight of the car as it passes that given spot on the railroad.

Although these are different examples of similar technology, they all help each industry increase their productivity through the use of technology. In a fast paced world, even the historically ‘less sophisticated’ industries are embracing technology as it provides them with more data, safer conditions and a better crop yield.

How Community Health Centers Qualify As FQHCs

Posted on September 1, 2015

Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), a unique form of community health centers (CHCs), are outpatient clinics that have attained the qualifications for achieving the specific reimbursements from the bureau of primary health care under the Medicaid and Medicare.fqhcs

Moreover, FQHCs receive federal funding and reimbursement rates that are enhanced directly for the public insurance in order to help in the delivery of quality and cost effective healthcare to the underserved populations and the uninsured citizens. FQHCs include the health center program grantee as well as FQHC look-alikes.

FQHC Qualifications

A health center can qualify to be a designated FQHC that will benefit from the federal support by fulfilling the following requirements:

1. The health center must be a community–based center and the majority of the board of directors that are governing it must consist of more than 51% percent of their patients that will ensure the population served is well represented.

2. It should be situated in a medically underserved area or population and should be able to serve the area fully.

3. The healthcare clinic must be able to serve and provide medical services to every individual from the underserved population or area regardless of their ability to pay for the services.

4. The health clinic must also establish and implement the sliding fee discount program that will enable the patients to pay for the health care using the sliding fee scale.

5. The health center must be a public entity or a non-profit organization. This still means that the aspect of health center patient billing is vital for success for FQHCs. For non-FQHCs, look-alike patient billing process is advised.

6. It should also be able to provide the comprehensive primary care services, referrals, and the various services that are required to improve the access to health care. These services entail; case management, transportation, and translation

7. The health center must have a quality assurance program that is ongoing and is aimed at ensuring the people in the specified underserved location or population access the specialized medical care with ease.

These requirements are carefully scrutinized by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) which will then designate the health center as FQHC. Besides, the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare administer the payment policy of the FQHC.

The FQHCs play numerous roles in the community that are aimed at provision of accessible and cost-effective healthcare. Here are some of their roles they play in the community.

Outpatient Health Care Providers

The FQHCs that include public housing and community health centers are obliged to provide the outpatient health care programs which are aimed at serving the immigrants and the homeless citizens in the underserved community and live in the underserved areas.

Access to Quality & Affordable Healthcare

The FQHCs help in increasing the access to quality and cost-effective health care that will improve the patient outcomes. Moreover, they are positioned in unique and accessible points in order to ensure that the underserved communities benefit from the patient-centered and community-based care.

Provision of Comprehensive Services

The FQHCs offers comprehensive services that are aimed at addressing the main healthcare needs of the citizens that live in the underserved population. Furthermore, they ensure the essential preventive and primary health care services are made available and accessible to the citizens in the underserved areas. The services include; mental health, oral health, and substance abuse services.
