8180 Films was created by three experts in film making with the aim of making cost-effective movies without compromising on quality. The company’s founders are Larry Brand (writer/director/editor) and film producers Jim Carpenter and Rebecca Reynolds. Later, the company recruited Ross Satterwhite who currently handles the financial aspects of this indie film company.
In the years that 8180 Films has been in production, the film makers have tried their hand at different kinds of films. Red Crown Productions is one indie film company that combines independent and studio space productions and are actually doing a great job at it. Since 2010, Red Crown Productions has been creating great movies that are as entertaining as they are quality.
The company was founded by Daniel Crown and Daniela Taplin Ludberg who have since worked with several directors (Cary Fukunaga and Sussana Fogel to mention a few) to create several smash hit movies.
